Gemini 12 (Gemini XII) was a 1966 manned spaceflight in NASA's Plan Gemini. It was the 10th and fundamental manned Gemini flight, the 18th manned American flight and, together with X-15 flights over 100 kilometers (62 mi), the 26th spaceflight of all time. Plan Gemini was the bulletin human spaceflight program of NASA, the inhabitant space agency of the Aligned States government. Plan Gemini was conducted between projects Mercury and Apollo, in the manner of ten manned flights taking place in 1965 and 1966. The members of Gemini XII were James A. Lovell, Jr and Edwin E.
