Any mention of the reported UFO crash at Hart Canyon, Aztec, New Mexico in March 1948 is guaranteed to provoke controversy, primarily because the affair (or "non"-affair, depending on your own, personal perspective!) generally polarizes people into two camps: those who believe the event actually occurred, and those who conclude everything can pretty much be explained via hoaxing, folklore and the actions of a certain Silas Newton.You can find out more about Newton and his antics by checking out HIS FBI FILE AT THE BUREAU'S "VAULT" SITE RIGHT HERE.And, here's what the FBI has to say about Newton and their once-secret file on the man:"Silas Newton (1887-1972) was a wealthy oil producer and con-man who claimed that he had a gadget that could detect minerals and oil. He was cited as an authority in Frank Scully's book "BEHIND THE FLYING SAUCERS", a work that claimed to report on several UFO crashes in the area of New Mexico. In 1950, Newton said that a flying saucer crashed on land he leased in the Mojave Desert; however, he revised his claim in 1952, saying he never saw a flying saucer but had only repeated comments he heard from others. In the summer of 1977, I was part of a hot-shot forest fire crew (the elite and only hot shot group for Western Washington region). Our days off were Tuesday and Wednesday and this event happened on a Tuesday, after 4th of July and before our end of contract in August. There was not much to do in Bellingham after dark in those days, so after cashing our paychecks and having dinner in Bellingham, we would go to the top of a mountain (South of Highway 542 between Deming and Glacier, WA) and have satellite races. Since we were so high up we had to wait until way after sunset when it was dark enough to see the satellites for the races. This consisted of staring at the sky and yelling out to 'claim' a satellite, as it passed over the apex of the tree. We had recently turned in our analog watches for indigo backlit digital, with stop watch features. So, we were doing the one thing that we could do at night - time the aircraft in the night sky. Some of our group were former military and paratrooper trained smoke jumpers, and were pretty familiar with craft in the sky, at that time. On the night in question, we saw a red orb streaking across the sky coming at the same path as the satellites. As it passed over the tree, everyone began clamoring that it was 'theirs' and it looked like a sure winner. We had been timing all the satellites from the tree on the eastern side (about 25-30 degrees from the eastern horizon) to the edge of the western horizon (at 180 degrees), clocking about 27 to 32 seconds to do the route. They would be abreast of us in about 15 seconds from leaving the tree to being right in front of us. This red orb made it in about 6 seconds. As it came abreast of us, it stopped dead and hovered. We didn't know if it was reacting to our presence, as we were at the top of the hill with a couple large pickups / crew cabs, in a clearing with a clean line of site in 220 degrees sweep around us. It was a completely clear sky, with no cloud cover at all. As our timing took this object past the 30 second mark, (since it was standing still), it was the clear loser of the race. Those who had claimed it were moaning about losing, and being ribbed by the others. Then, Doug noticed that fighter jets were scrambling from Whidbey Navel Air Station. If we were located in the middle of an invisible sphere around us, and 90 degrees was above us, we were looking due north at the object (Which could have been over Canada.) as it was approximately 110 degrees (relative to our position) due north. The fighter jets appeared to be below us and to the left. (If level with us was 180 degrees (relative), the fighter jets were 200 to 200 degrees downwards, and to the left, or westward of us. Mostly around the Navel Air Station.) The jets came up one right after the other, as fast as they could (probably about 5-7 seconds apart.) We don't know how many actually made it up before we noticed them, as we were transfixed, staring at the orb. We counted 6 fighters coming up, and they fanned out from Sumas, WA to over the ocean. At this time the orb waited, fighters came towards us but did not make it (to be under the orb). Once the jets were in the sky, we noticed that the orb had slightly moved east, (reversed course, slightly backward), and was moving rapidly into outer space, for it appeared dimmer. The fighter jets were moving really slowly in comparison. The jets did not at all gain the altitude of the other orb, which appeared to be under intelligent control, and was not a ball of gas or electrical phenomenon or extrusion from a cloud/lightening (no clouds). After a while, the jets started doing a grid pattern, going up to the Canadian border, which was less than 10 miles directly in front of us, and then turning around to continue a grid pattern. We were up so high on the mountain, our heads were looking nearly straight up at the orb, and downward towards the fighter jets. It seemed like the jets were flying below us, and mostly staying around the base. At about a half hour after coming up, the jets started landing back at base. We counted around 7 going down, with the final one landing about 45 minutes to an hour, after it had come up. Until the jets scrambled, we thought we were looking at experimental military craft. It was obviously not a satellite, since it was faster, different color, and stopped absolutely from high speed to total stillness, without moving. There was no wobbliness, as would be expected from a helicopter, with which the smoke jumpers were familiar. Also, the red light was stationary at a magnitude higher than the fighter jets, since it was so small in comparison to the jets, which were appearing as moving in a straight line and whitish in color. In 1977 the animal mutilations were much in the news, and a few abductions were starting to be discussed in the media, so some of the questions we were asking ourselves were "Why were the jets apparently looking for this craft? Why did it stop in front of us? Did we have any missing time?" Since we were home before midnight, we did not have any missing time. The next day, our squad leader said, "Are we going to talk about this?" And we replied, "Well, we thought it was a satellite until it stopped. And then US military experimental craft, until the jets came. Then it went out to outer space. So, I guess it is Unidentified Flying Object. What's more to say?" We didn't go out to do satellite races any more, and a few weeks later our contracts as firefighters came to an end. I haven't stated this publically until now, but I thought it was time to get it down, before I die or forget. I have not seen this recorded anywhere else, so I wanted to put another piece of the puzzle down, in case this all ties together with other sightings somehow. The 8 of us were stationed at Mount Baker ranger district, US Forest Service, and lived in Glacier, WA.

ALIEN CHAOS - Are Aliens Falsifying Our Data ?

On 25th April 2010 Stephen Hawking, leading academic and cosmologist, told the Sunday Times: "We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn't want to meet. I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet. Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonise whatever planets they can reach." He also points out that making contact with aliens could be very risky, stating: "If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very well for the Native Americans." What if the "if ever" is redundant? What if the invasion has already begun and if so, how so?
We might begin answering these questions by first asking whether or not there is any concrete evidence to support Professor Hawking's hypothesis. Conversely, is it merely conjecture? That there is photographic evidence and first-hand accounts of interaction with UFOs and Unidentified Light Objects is a moot point. Moreover, evidence of extraterrestrial objects, ship-like or saucer-like in shape, is incontrovertibly documented by government and non-government agencies, publicly admitted or not. It is not mere happenchance, I would suggest, that Professor Hawking's statement came out shortly after more than one hundred NASA stereo sun-camera images from two satellites in solar orbit from January to February 2010 were published. These images contained enormous planet-sized objects of metallic hue and artificial design that could not be easily dismissed with claims that they were image compression artefacts or data anomalies manufactured out of very low resolution or missing information. Their appearance was of something designed, as we understand design, i.e. to be logical or purposefully constructed, some with regular, smooth surfaces and overall symmetry, while others had angular sides and protrusions.
Given that NASA employs analysts to scour their Moon and Mars shots and presumably also their Sun and Hubble images for the least sign of anything that seems alien, it is extraordinary that NASA allowed images of huge craft entering and exiting the sun, as well as maintaining solar orbit, to be published. Purposeful disclosure is evident, but why? What are we being alerted to? Are these alien encounters as potentially hostile as Hawking would have us believe or even more disconcerting, could imminent or past contact with Earth be something to worry about-have we already been predated upon?
The main argument against the 'alien predator' hypothesis is twofold. One element argues from a lack of evidence and the other relies on imagination, both weak from a scientific point of view. The first point is that if aliens are out there, but have not yet made contact with Earth, we simply do not have enough information to know if they are hostile or not. The second point is based on the assumption that should hostile aliens have already invaded, the end result would be global devastation for the human infrastructure - as portrayed in such films as Independence Day and Battle for LA. However, according to film-industry standards of desecration, nothing like this has ever occurred. So what are we to believe - accepting evidence we do have of their existence - that aliens are somehow out there or up there but are non-threatening, perhaps even amicable? Or venturing further, accept that they may be here now among us but are non-interfering, non-malignant and are at worst like a common cold that will just go away in its own time. Right? Wrong.
The problem in discerning the truth lies in mankind's complete absorption and focus on a relatively undisturbed and materially engaging social infrastructure, but to the detriment of noticing its other structures and the changes they are undergoing. Thus, distracted by its ever-increasing virtual and non-virtual gadgets, computers, digital TVs and iPads, mankind is unable, perhaps even unwilling since this self-absorption is wholly enjoyable, to recognise the external interference from a cosmic battle now taking place for the destiny and assimilation of its souls.
Whilst the distracted human race is busy on this de-sensitising treadmill, caught in its net, so-to-speak, subtle, surreptitious changes can be seen taking place to its more subtle social and ideological landmarks. For example, if historically the Greys, Djinns, Faeries and Archons have the purported power to abduct human beings through hard physical walls, could these beings, alien when compared to human ability, not also create fake and artificially-aged archaeological artefacts like those described in Michael Cremo's Forbidden Archaeology, teleporting them down into the Earth's strata to be dug up later by archaeologists who then unknowingly conspire with their alien masters to alter, perhaps manipulate, our perceptions of history? If so, why? Was there a plan long ago? Is its realisation now?
Another possibility of alien interference is that of transmigrating demonic orbs, sometimes seen as more developed beings or Greys. They can enter as orbs into scientific apparatus and real-time computational models, thereby altering, mutating and distorting observed scientific outcomes or alternatively, they can simply appear amongst our own images, whether real or imagined. The historical leeway given to a Forrest Gump is grist for the mill. If we can intelligently and purposely manipulate history and reality for our leisure, then how easily this indulgence could be turned against us, especially by a more developed intelligence not having our good as its end. I was able to investigate a local case in Gorebridge, Scotland in 2010. Jackie Gillies, a regular contactee and well-known observer of paranormal phenomena, began receiving an altered version of SKY digital TV on his television set. In plain view on his screen were Grey-like forms with their human assets. They were seen conducting bizarre rituals in a paddock during televised horse racing. Amazingly, he was able to record this as empirical evidence on his hard disk.
A slightly earlier incident in Gorebridge also presents strong evidence, but this time of determination by something or someone to undermine and change the fact that alien hardware was in full view for all to see. In 2009 a huge, luminous UFO was filmed flying across the full moon. At first it appeared almost surreal, like the 'Starship Enterprise' as seen in the distance on TV, but suddenly it changed its shape into a phallic-like object. It then became apparent that a small-scale entity in the form of an orb was only yards from the camcorder and in this instance most likely the perpetrator of this intelligent, but dark and demonic optical illusion.
The question we now raise is to ask whether it is possible that the NASA stereo sun cameras are getting hoaxed in a similar manner? Are these cameras, unbeknownst to them or their operators, simultaneously taking pictures not of real space and its inhabitants, but of an orchestrated reality, a miniature alien theatre as it were, manufactured by the orbs or Greys for a future dark reality?
Similarly, there were many rather strange images allegedly sent from the NASA Spirit Rover as it crawled about the Mars terrain, e.g. a lizard-type being, a gopher in a donkey jacket, a lady 'Venus' posing on a rock, and then on Feb 8th 2010, an image of two parked and highly designed and detailed space ships surrounded by alien personnel and activity. This last image was presented on the NASA Mars Rover website as if there was nothing extraordinary to see in the photo, interstellar technology and travel in situ - here is the proof or so it seemed to say.
Although the interstellar ideologies in the image are very real, this photo is no doubt a fake. It may have been part of the locking mechanism on the rovers hood - but it has also acquired some interesting humanoid pixels in the sky in front of it that really shouldn't be there - giving the mechanism the effect of looking like a starship on a busy plain. The Martian mountains and skyline in what should have been in the far distance of the original photo have been made to look nearer, in the middle ground, and an alien starport appears pasted into the distance where the original sky used to be.
The question is, though, who faked it ?
I do not think that NASA faked this photo, because this image and similar ones appear to contain alien conical force-fields of the sort covertly already used on Earth by aliens. Interference with the NASA images is more likely.
Two important facts point to modern-day ETs, the orbs or Greys, as the source of this hoax. In other words, the joke is not on them, but on NASA and us.
1. The altered NASA Mars footage contains Starwars-like interstellar images, general issue bona fide alien hardware, cut, pasted and brought into focus to make a point. The real question is what point and by whom? No one in ufology is presently discussing actual photographs of Greys using conical force-fields because the latter is not generally known about. It is not likely, either, that if NASA did know about conical force-fields that they would let this be known, since NASA has always suppressed the truth about these technologies and probably has a vested interest in doing so.
2. The surreal nature of some of the creature images from other NASA images on Mars are entirely consistent with the 'high strangeness' and chaos that the Greys are traditionally noted for on Earth when harassing their human victims.
What we see is the introduction of alien chaos into our midst, as in the NASA photos. Whereas it is not implausible that there are star bases on Mars, the introduction of uncertainty into that reality by making these photos appear fake or tampered with is the deliberate and gratuitous introduction of disorder and confusion, which in an ordered world is the precursor to destruction and annihilation.
Whereas Descartes reasoned that our own experience may be controlled by an evil demon, I would suggest that alien intruders, be they UFOs, orbs or Greys may be what is really in control of our future, whether we are fully aware of them or not. In the light of abundant witness reports, moreover, there remains a cold and subjective truth, namely, that alien contact and colonial presence have produced no social benefit for the human race. To the contrary, there are abundant witness reports of anti-human chaos. Perhaps, as Hawking suggests, things are not turning out well for the natives of Earth.

In the current "State of the Union" issue of The Atlantic, there's a profile of George Noory by Timothy Lavin, who described the host of the late night radio talk show "Coast to Coast AM" as "a man of long radio experience, indeterminate politics, and ominous generality."
Lavin wrote: "From an unexceptional corporate tower in the San Fernando Valley, Premiere Radio Networks fills the American airwaves with 90 syndicated programs every day... For four hours every night, on holidays and weekends, Coast to Coast beams from a small, unmarked studio, down the hall to Premiere National Operations Center, then out to 525 affiliate stations reaching every major radio market, and into the home of some 3 million people and counting."
The show has been known to address topics often categorized as 'paranormal phenomena.' Some of the show's background was related by Lavin and I'll add some additional details while sharing my perspective.
Noory became the official primary host of the show in 2003 after original host Art Bell retired. There was an interim when Mike Siegel was the main host. The program that became what is now known as "Coast to Coast AM" was hosted by Art Bell (a U.S. Air Force veteran with a long radio career) at KDWN in Las Vegas in 1989. Syndication began in 1993 and the show soon expanded to hundreds of stations. In 1998 the show was purchased by Jacor Communications, Inc., which merged with Premiere Radio Networks, Inc., which in turn became a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, Inc. Art Bell was succeeded by a series of hosts and a more regulated format implementing strict call screening. Guest credibility has always been something best evaluated on an individual basis. Considering all aspects of the show during the year after Noory became host, I would say that a greater emphasis on entertainment was noticeable. I've rarely listened to the show since 2003.
Noory's and Art Bell's interest in 'paranormal' topics has brought comparisons to the Long John Nebel WOR broadcasts from New York City to the eastern United States from 1956 through 1963. These shows also were often devoted to discussing UFOs and other unexplained phenomena although, unlike Art Bell, Nebel professed to be a nonbeliever in UFOs. Nebel also broadcast from WNBC (1963-1973) and WMCA (1973-1978).
An omission of The Atlantic career profile of Noory is his nine years in the U.S. Naval Reserve as a Public Information Officer. In March 2005 when I listened to the show for the first time in many months, George mentioned having been at the Pentagon, Defense Information School at Fort Benjamin in Indianapolis, and Pensacola. On that particular evening there was a "Zombie Hotline" for "Open Lines" callers. The reason I mention this is because every military or corporate occupation poses some degree of indoctrination. No government or corporation has ever had a single thought or accomplished anything - it is individual people who make the decisions.
Lavin observed Noory and producer Tom Danheiser in the studio during a recent broadcast when the topic was 'freaks' and this was Lavin's viewpoint.
Ralph from Oceanside, California, on the West of the Rockies line, is telling Danheiser a rambling tale about mysterious desert cats of unusual jumping ability. Danheiser listens impatiently, then interrupts him and puts him on hold. On Noory's monitor, he types: "Ralph, Oceanside, CA-FLAG." The flag, I assume, means don't take this crazy call. In fact, it means just the opposite-take this crazy call as soon as you can. Callers who are too polished (boring callers, in the vernacular) sometimes have a harder time getting through, though Danheiser admits that the line between interesting and unhinged is a fine one.
The article concludes with Lavin describing listening to "Coast to Coast AM" one night when physicist Brian Greene was the interview guest. Greene is reported to have said he has never encountered anything that has convinced him, even in a slight degree, that there's anything beyond death so I'm going to Email Brian a link to this blog.

The bureau has made thousands of files available in a new online resource called The Vault....
Among them is a memo to the director from Guy Hottel, the special agent in charge of the Washington field office in 1950.
In the memo, whose subject line is 'Flying Saucers', Agent Hottel reveals that an Air Force investigator had stated that 'three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico'.
The investigator gave the information to a special agent, he said. The FBI has censored both the agent and the investigator's identity.
Agent Hottel went on to write: 'They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter.
Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall,' he stated.
The bodies were 'dressed in a metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots.'
He said that the informant, whose identity was censored in the memo, claimed the saucers had been found in New Mexico 'due to the fact that the Government has a very high-powered radar set-up in that area and it is believed the radar interferes with the controlling mechanism of the saucers'.
He then stated that the special agent did not attempt to investigate further.
The release of the secret memo is likely to fuel conspiracy theorists' claims of a government cover-up.
The town of Roswell in New Mexico became infamous after reports that a flying saucer had crashed in the desert near a military base there on or around July 2, 1947.
The bodies of aliens were said to have been recovered and autopsied by the U.S. military, but American authorities allegedly covered the incident up

Another memo published in The Vault from 1947 claimed that an object 'purporting to be a flying disc' had been recovered near Roswell.
The disc was 'hexagonal in shape' and 'suspended from a balloon by a cable', according to the memo, marked as 'Urgent', to the FBI director.
The memo noted that the disc resembled a weather balloon - but claimed that a telephone conversation between the Air Force and the field office 'had not [word censored] borne out this belief'.
The disc and balloon were being transported to Wright Field for further inspection, the memo noted.
