According to Time Magazine former Obama advisor John Podesta is back at the White House as an advisor. According to the Time reporter the return will not be without disagreements between the two men. One of the disagreements will be the subject of UFOs.

This return of the "openness in government" Podesta come only days after President Obama again went to the edge with a joke about UFOs. This time it was a reference to Area 51 where alien bodies and flying saucer back-engineering technologies are supposed to be housed. Obama stated that he was on record as being the first President to mention the words Area 51 in public, which is no major release as the term Area 51 was declassified some months ago.
The statement was made as a joke in preparation for an award being given to actress and UFO advocate Shirley MacLaine, who was trilled at receiving the award and the Obama joke.

If there is a WW3, then one may ask, is it a cover up for an alien invasion that is about to happen really soon? Lets look at the evidence so far. Scattered around the Milky Way are stars that resemble our own sun-but a new study is finding that any planets orbiting those stars may very well be hotter and more dynamic than Earth. Those stars came from a dataset recorded by the High Accuracy Radial Velocity Planet Searcher spectrometer at the European Southern Observatory in Chile.They searched the solar twins for elements such as thorium and uranium, which are essential to Earth's plate tectonics because they warm our planet's interior. Plate tectonics helps maintain water on the surface of the Earth, so the existence of plate tectonics is sometimes taken as an indicator of a planet's hospitality to life.Of the eight solar twins they've studied so far, seven appear to contain much more thorium than our sun-which suggests that any planets orbiting those stars probably contain more thorium, too. That, in turn, means that the interior of the planets are probably warmer than ours.For example, one star in the survey contains 2.5 times more thorium than our sun, said Ohio State doctoral student Cayman Unterborn. According to his measurements, terrestrial planets that formed around that star probably generate 25 percent more internal heat than Earth does, allowing for plate tectonics to persist longer through a planet's history, giving more time for live to arise."If it turns out that these planets are warmer than we previously thought, then we can effectively increase the size of the habitable zone around these stars by pushing the habitable zone farther from the host star, and consider more of those planets hospitable to microbial life," said Unterborn, who presented the results at the American Geophysical Union meeting in San Francisco this week."At this point, all we can say for sure is that there is some natural variation in the amount of radioactive elements inside stars like ours," he added. "With only nine samples including the sun, we can't say much about the full extent of that variation throughout the galaxy. But from what we know about planet formation, we do know that the planets around those stars probably exhibit the same variation, which has implications for the possibility of life."His advisor, Wendy Panero, associate professor in the School of Earth Sciences at Ohio State, explained that radioactive elements such as thorium, uranium, and potassium are present within Earth's mantle. "But the core isn't our only heat source. A comparable contributor is the slow radioactive decay of elements that were here when the Earth formed. Without radioactivity, there wouldn't be enough heat to drive the plate tectonics that maintains surface oceans on Earth."The relationship between plate tectonics and surface water is complex and not completely understood. Panero called it "one of the great mysteries in the geosciences." Having driven the route with the officer several times, several things became apparent:
When we arrived at the location where he parked his car (side of the road) he pointed to where the beings were, according to the officer one was very near the brow of the hill, one was a few yards further down in a different tramline, and one was about halfway down the slight hill. So I asked the 64,000,000 question about the fact that the formation couldn't be seen from the road. His response was that he knew prior to the experience there was a formation 'somewhere over there' (he had heard this discussed) and he 'knew' they had been in it. He 'knew' they were inspecting the crop. When questioned how he 'knew' he said that 'you know what day of the week it is, but no-one has told you, you haven't seen a calender, you just know'. Did he have some psychic awareness? Was something communicated to him? This is a man who views the world in the black and white of the letter of the law, this is a man whose testimony can imprison someone, in my humble opinion he is not taken to flights of fancy with metaphysical concepts. I am reminded of Mike Booths experience of seeing some objects 'working' on creating a circle in a field and the psychic element of that experience. I think his original statement of 'figures in the formation' was a generalisation based on his knowledge and what we have learned later. I also think that if his motive was to create a story he wouldn't have fallen for this basic error, his story would have knitted together better.
We moved on to the figures running away at speed. If two of them were so close to the brow of the hill, how much running would he actually see? One of them would have disappeared instantly as they were near the brow of the hill. He says that they moved very fast, as if you were watching a video or DVD in fast forward mode. This would have been noticeable for the being farthest from the hill brow. As we spoke I watched the hairs on the officers arms raise as he relived the experience in his mind. When I asked whether they ran away out of sight or disappeared he was adamant they disappeared. He claimed he glanced away for a second and his claims that the being that was the furthest away was not near enough the brow of the hill for him to run out of view despite his rapid movement. Again, there is a deep 'knowing' they disappeared. As we stood by the side of the road he became very nervous of the people gathering at the busy Silbury Hill car park, I believe this experience has left a mark deeper than he realises.
After showing me where he tried to enter the field we drove to his home. We drove the route, and relived the experience several times. The last three times I timed the route, and asked him about how long each stage of the experience lasted, and for the three journeys I timed we have a five minute discrepency. Now, even allowing for a busier road (it was Marlborough Jazz festival last weekend) and how quiet it would have been the morning of the experience, the timings do not add up and I believe we have five minutes missing time. As a clinical hypnotherapist I have done quite a bit of work with experiencers over the years so I have got quite adept at spotting missing time. His wife also verifies the time of his arrival home on that day, and it tallies with my belief there is at least five minutes missing time. At the moment the officer does not wish to explore this missing time.
After the experience the officer suffered what he called poltergeist experiences. Several electrical items began to malfunction and there were strange knocks at the front door. When the officer answered the door there would be no-one there. The officer felt he had brought something home with him, several days after the experience he said that he had felt a presence within his home. Sometimes, when walking out to the kitchen, he said he saw in his minds eye a brief flash of a towering black figure (approx 8ft) standing before him. These types of experiences are quite common with experiencers.
A few days after the experience the officer felt there were pieces of the experience coming to mind that he was not at first aware of. He came to believe that the beings were identical, in a clone-like manner but also shared an intelligence, almost in a hive-like mentality. He also believes that these beings were not responsible for this or any crop circle. He also went on to state that he shouldn't have seen what he had seen, and believes this was communicated to him at the time. He doesn't know where this information came from and these concepts and thoughts are outside his usual frame of reference.
I am quite convinced that the officer had an experience that day, and one that we have not fully explored as I think with the unusual movement of the beings, the missing time and the poltergeist type experinces after the event, just to name a few, there is too much additional information to say this is something in nothing. I do not believe the officer has the knowledge to create this story to the detail he has. A cursory glace on his bookcase in his living room and his study reveal no books that would suggest a knowledge or belief in UFOs, para-psychology or the paranormal. His cursory interest in crop circles comes from an experience his daughter had and how crop circles affect policing in the Wiltshire area (increased traffic, irate farmers, reports of damage to crops etc).
Through the original release of this information several people have come forward to claim similar experiences within the same area over the last few years. Most of these stories have excellent leads to follow up on. I believe that this area is especially important, just as much now as it was for the original builders, and I believe we will see more of these types of incidents in the future.

STRANGE CROSS IN THE SKIES HAVE BEEN REPORTED ALL OVER THE WORLDAt first, I only saw 1 and what caught my eyes was the color and shape. It was in a shape of a cross and thicker in the middle and bright orange in color and moving very slowly without any sounds. As I got closer to my house, I cleared some of the trees and noticed that it had come to a complete stop. I didn't see any blinking lights. As I got in front of my house, I had a clear sight and noticed a 2nd object exactly the same. The first object had come to a complete stop and the 2nd identical looking object approached very slowly. I ran in the house to get my cell phone to get a picture and ran to the backyard that gave a complete unobstructed view of where the both objects were. That was less than 20 seconds and they were no longer there. Ran to the front of the house and did not see or hear anything -JANUARY 29, 2010.... NORTH MANCHESTER ENGLANDThe majority of sightings that are reported to the group typically describe spherical, disc-shaped or triangular objects. However sometimes objects of a more unusual shape are also reported. This report covers one such sighting by a highly credible witness - a 49 year old retire police constable named Ian Sawyer. Ian lives in Blackley, North Manchester, and used to be part of the South Yorkshire police force. Several days before Christmas 2009 he had a very unusual sighting which prompted him to get in touch with BUFOG. It was 8.38pm on the evening of 22nd December 2009, and a very clear, still and cold night. There was very little cloud cover and the stars and moon were fully visible. It had been snowing earlier in the day, there was about 3 inches of snow covering the ground. Ian was sitting in his lounge at the computer and having an internet chat with a friend on Yahoo Messenger. The lounge window runs directly behind his computer. The view from the window overlooks the old Booth Hall Children's Hospital site on Charlestown Road.Suddenly an orange glowing light caught his eye, and he glanced out of the window to see where it was coming from. He immediately caught sight of a very strange large glowing object in the night sky. The object was the shape of a widened crucifix lying sideways, and was glowing a fiery orange color. At first Ian assumed it was an aeroplane on fire, but then realized it couldn't be due to it's shape and size. It had very defined straight edges and appeared as a single solid object. Ian estimates it was 3 or 4 times the size of a jumbo jet. He believed it was situated over a wooded area in the local vicinity, and at least a couple of thousand feet high. The object was moving extremely fast, hundreds of miles an hour, faster than a military jet would fly at. It was on a level flight path heading to the North in the direction of Middleton.When Ian first sighted the object it was about a 3rd of the way across the view from his lounge window. Due to the speed of the object it was only a couple of seconds before he had completely lost sight of it off to the left of the window. He immediately thought about grabbing his camera but then remembered that the batteries were flat. Because the object was moving so fast it is unlikely he would have had time to photograph it anyway. He moved to the right to get a different view through the window but the object had completely vanished from sight. NOTE: NUFORC currently has 237 reports of cross-shaped UFO on file. One of the more interesting cases on record was the Devon Flying Cross. When I started to look over the reports, I was amazed at the number of the cross-shaped UFOs that have been reported. Most of the UFOs were white or orange in color...some would morph in another shape (mostly a cigar or cylinder). The bad thing about windows is that it can cause a reflection of light from behind you, making me concerned about this sighting, yet the person waves his hand in front of it and you see the reflection of the hand without the UFO changing in any way.
When I enlarge the object I see that its not a reflection from light...but appears to be a solid object with a very distinct shape. UFOs do follow planes all the time and probably more so at night, so in my opinion yes it is real and that is why I am posting it, but please tell us your thoughts on this. SCW
