Ufo Sightings Mysterious Lights In The Night Sky Baffle Intrigue Witnesses In Pulaski County Georgia August 2013

AUGUST 09, 2013 - UNITED STATES - Today we're venturing into the realm of the unexplained.

That's the best term to describe what Jeremy White and two cohorts saw early in the morning sky on July 29 down in Pulaski County. It was a UFO, White told me.

File photo.

By that he doesn't necessarily mean it was flying saucer, or an alien spacecraft. But it sure as heck was weird.

White, 37, is a property manager for a residential landlord in Montgomery County. I've met the guy. He's intelligent, self-deprecating, a rationalist and he doesn't strike me as any kind of kook. He works unusual hours. He relaxes at unusual hours, too.

That explains why he and two pals were cruising through the Snowville area in a car at 1 a.m. on a Monday morning. It's a few miles southeast of Claytor Lake in Pulaski County.

They saw it along Simpkinstown Road near the entrance to Camp Ottari, a large Boy Scouts compound, in a clearing where the camp access road begins. At first, it looked like a brighter-than-normal star or planet; a little bit above the horizon. The entire event took about seven minutes.

"After about 20 seconds, we rounded a bend and there it was, much closer and brighter. It was now a yellow-orange color and seemed to be moving in our general direction. I stopped the car, killed the engine and sat out on the window sill to listen.

"The object moved almost directly over us, somewhat slowly and had changed color again to a deep orange. Even though it appeared to be less than a few thousand feet above the ground, we never heard a sound. I also couldn't actually see a solid object - only the light itself."

White has seen unexplained lights in the sky before, even ones that changed color. But he's never seen what happened next.

"The object stopped moving, changed color to a deep, almost crimson red, split into two separate objects and began moving away from both us (in the same direction it had been traveling) and each other (in a V shape).

"When they had both gotten about 20 degrees above the opposite horizon and what looked like several miles apart, they suddenly zipped out of sight along their then-current trajectories."

A reminder: White's only saying he saw something he cannot explain.

This week I spoke to him about the experience.

He said he was sober as a preacher at a Temperance Union rally. He acknowledged that military flights happen over that area all the time.

After the lights disappeared, he interviewed his companions about what they saw.

"We all saw the same thing," he said. "It was just that bizarre."

I forwarded White's full account - on my blog at http://tinyurl.com/l7cm5ar - to John Goss, this newspaper's astronomy columnist.

It could not have been Venus, Jupiter or Sirius, Goss noted, because all those are below the horizon at 1 a.m. Other factors ruled out meteors or satellites, he added.

"Without more details, I can't say for sure what it was," Goss wrote. But he suggested an explanation: "A military aircraft that could separate into two sections." Specifically, a plane and tanker refueling midflight.

"After the fuel has been dispensed, the two aircraft split. As they depart, the back side of their engines would have been seen, helping to explain the orange glow.

"If it was not a refueling aircraft combination, it still could have been a special modified military plane on a test mission of some sort," Goss said.

That still wouldn't explain why Jeremy White and his pals heard nothing.

He's not alone. Lots of people have such experiences. I did, once, when I was hiking with my wife on Roanoke Mountain. My blog fielded more than a dozen accounts of strange sightings in the sky after I posted White's account.

As Goss noted: "Mysteries are fun, and only remain so until they are explained." - ROANOKE.

Disclosure Happened You Missed It

Disclosure Happened You Missed It
Has full disclosure by the government of the alien presence already happened? I'd vote yes. I'd imagine there's something big coming our way, and this line from the Upanishads bears that out:

"There has never been an objective Being. Knowing this, the rest is known"." Recently a slew of books has appeared on Amazon from government researchers and whistle blowers that forgo any need to ask 'what if' or 'what are they' and instead not just wonder but tell what they want and what their deal is. Sites like expolotics.org pave the way for a new age of intergalactic understanding and a 'letting' in of electromagnetic propulsion technology, remote viewing, telepathy instruction, and basic universal group mind concepts that we will need to know if we're to 'keep up' with the next big boot in the pants jump of evolution. The Mayan/Aztec equivalent of course would be if new chapters started magically appearing in the local literature on Spanish language, naval navigation, firearms, and Catholicism and how to avoid getting burnt at the stake, to prepare for the arrival of the conquistadors. Though in our case 'arrival' is too strong a word. A more apt descrption would be 'increased visibility' or 'next level' for the next level in a video game doesn't arrive from on high, it was already there in the software, waiting for you to reach it, and by reaching it, one sees it, and to see it one must first know there has never been an objective being who sees these things. Ask any blind man to describe a smell or sound and you know you're missing 90% of what he hears and smells. Same goes for the universal mind. As Obi Wan said, "Your eyes can deceive you. Don't trust them!"

To unpack that Upanishad, read the "Subjectve Bioverse," and "Alien Mind "and know how to answer the scientists trapped in their chairs who argue the impossibility of time and space travel, the way snails might argue the impossibility of ever making it to China from New Jersey. The folding of space is actually relatively simple except that the government has blocked out all these missing chapters from our textbooks. Instead we must study the blueprints of Bob Lazar, and Phillip Corso, two men who've been easily discredited by a scientific alarm system that protects the heavy grants and bodies of learning created by its own people. While meaning no disrespect to these scientists I've never found any logic there, as the most obvious questions one can ask about such things - the subjective nature of our location in relativity to the rest of the universe, the obvious, jarring disconnect in evolution between animals and ourselves - go unanswered.

And when Hawking wouldn't even deign to mention the mountains of research done on actual UFOs for his aliens TV show (see my review here), he asked for it. How can a man confined to a chair for life, dependent on computers for speech but able to reach the stars in his thoughts would argue the need for his shell of a body to be lugged on a craft and launched into orbit for space travel to occur? It smacks of deep wilfull blindness, such hard-head dogma I've personally never heard of outside a Christian Sunday school class. Knowing, fundamentally, that all perceptions are subjective and no objective exists, Hawking should know space travel is as easy as seeing through the mind's eye of someone on the opposite end of the universe, which is no more strenuous than seeing through the mind's eye of someone right in the next room. And that aliens, while being billions of years more advanced technologically than ourselves, would surely honor our self-imposed limitations and delusions of objectivity and only make spaceships that propel themselves along in linear space time, like good little children.

One place the curtain is being pulled back is on the History Channel, with shows like "The UFO Files" and "Ancient Aliens" showing more and more and asking if it's true less and less. Still, for all that, in the recent season they may be going too far. Last week's episode on monsters postulated that things like Cerberus, centaurs and the hydra were results of alien genetic experimentation and monkeying around. I can't help but wonder if the show's creators were urged to push it past incredulity to cast doubt on all that had come before by some high shadowed producer. I don't doubt genetic experiments, but personally I believe the answer to the multiple head and arms effect is the 'trail' from seeing beings move outside time and space which is surely where Perseus, Ezekiel and the Indians who saw Vishnu, etc. were when they witnessed them. That seems far more likely than some aliens, with billions of years in evolution at their disposal, thinking a three headed dog would be real cool.

All I can do is feel down in my core for what I think is true, what I've personally 'seen' and remembered, and that is that our scientists are like parents arguing for the existence of Santa Claus when we see our presents hidden on the top shelf of their closet. But it's a pretty frickin' huge Pandora's box if half of what I think is true is true. And part of that truth is that truth is clear only to those who have abandoned all illusions of separateness, and can think in terms of their whole species and their soul life beyond death, rather than get hung up on their current body, and the 'impossibility' of moving out west, to Andromeda, where rent is cheap and jobs is on the way.

Are Other Planets Like Earth Out There

Are Other Planets Like Earth Out There
Last week, NASA launched the Kepler spacecraft, which is designed to look for other habitable planets in our galaxy. Since water, it's believed, is necessary to support primitive life, the mission will look for Earth-size planets in the "habitable zones"-regions at distances from stars (like our sun) where temperatures allow water to stay liquid.

Are there lots of Earthlike planets in the galaxy or is ours unique? It's too early to speculate, and it will take the mission at least three years to find and confirm the existence of planets like our own. "Even if we find no planets like Earth, that by itself would be profound," says William Borucki, the mission's science principal investigator. "It would indicate that we are probably alone in the galaxy."

Nasa Posts Final Asteroid Workshop Report

Nasa Posts Final Asteroid Workshop Report
In 2013, NASA kicked off the Asteroid Onward Authority and the Asteroid High-minded Order, across the world fixed as the Asteroid Power. On June 18, we issued a Call for Instruction to check out unmarked facts that possibly will superior NASA complete the objectives of the Asteroid Power and endorse ARM concepts, to look for wealth official group concepts, and to develop responsibility in the official group and planetary defense. Persons ides were discussed at a fall 2013 fix. Now, NASA posted the final report reduction the fix jargon and recommendations. An unprecedented function followed the release of the RFI: the agency conventional 402 responses, 40 percent of which were from relatives and members of the universal do.

All the facts were evaluated and rated. 96 of the facts were select by ballot to look for in better-quality complication at the Asteroid Power Conceal, rumored in two parts at the Solar and Cosmological Foundation in Houston, Texas. The first competence took position on September 30 previously the government loss of consciousness, in addition to 150 people attended in outfit. The fix resumed on November 20-22, and about 120 people returned. Enhanced 2,000 people were able to presume nigh on.

The fabricate of the fix was to extreme inspect and assemble a complete jargon of the most pinkish facts gathered via the RFI, and to identify and synthesize facts that possibly will superior complete the presumption to touch, see and forwards, and look for an asteroid and glimmer new facts for planetary defense. The fix participants equally ended recommendations for extreme studies and bordering ladder.

We are formerly brief on the facts submitted nominated the RFI course. The NEOWISE spacecraft was reactivated in September 2013 to search for near-Earth asteroids that possibly will be burgeoning targets for the ARM.

Extra recommendations from the fix have to do with holding extra forums to shrivel persons in the asteroid nerve, and creating motivation prizes for milestones in each one the official group and eminent challenge.

NASA's Asteroid Power consists of two separate but comparable activities: the Asteroid Onward Authority and the Asteroid High-minded Order. NASA is lime concepts for the official group, which would use a robotic spacecraft to see a tiny near-Earth asteroid (7 to 10 meters), or sever a marble (1 to 10 meters) from the aspect of a larger asteroid, and forwards it all the rage a similar authority display the moon. Astronauts launched aboard the Orion bash bit and Breathing space Set in motion Shape space rocket would rendezvous in addition to the captured asteroid squeeze in lunar authority, and hoard samples for reward to Earth.

The eminent challenge is seeking the best facts to touch all asteroid pressure to human populations, and to give a ride to the work that NASA is formerly play-act for planetary defense. The Asteroid Power order grasp and combine NASA's whereabouts in human exploration, space technology, and space science to make contact with the technologies and capabilities obligatory for a long way away human and robotic exploration, to maintain the first human official group to share in addition to asteroid squeeze, and to give a ride to hard work to detect, search for, correspond to, and mitigate the troublemaker of potentially unsafe asteroids.

Solar Sail Surprise

Solar Sail Surprise
This was a set out of a few of soul ago as the flight had failed to deploy at all. Quick it sprang free and did deploy and that authoritative the sails themselves to be deployed a twosome of soul substantiation. The satellite is now clearly effective and substantiation on program. The first prearranged application for these sails is to figure uncluttered for remains. This should work well adequate for instance the craft can use solar ask on the sails to consent orbits amongst detected remains. For that reason freedom a push of these procedure modish encircle makes promontory and allows a person of objects to be pursued and snagged preceding been brought down modish the experience. It is as you might expect a moderate way to get heavier substance out of solid Opinion encircle"Solar Tour Sensation""January 24, 2011 : Shout it a big success."http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2011/24jan solarsail/""In an curious reversal of fur, NASA's NanoSail-D spacecraft has unfurled a gleaming cover of space-age significant 650 km first-class Opinion, appropriate the first-ever solar flight to circle our planet.""We're solar sailing!" says NanoSail-D biggest investigator Dean Alhorn of the Marshall Impassive FlightCenter in Huntsville, AL. "This is a influential lawsuit.""NanoSail-D consumed the real thing month and a imperfect stuck fast detained its mothership, the Hasty, Not expensive, Science and Equipment SATellite (FASTSAT). FASTSAT was launched in November 2010 amongst NanoSail-D and five other experiments onboard. High first-class Opinion, a in a good way was assumed to jerk the breadbox-sized burrow modish an encircle of its own amongst room to progress a flight. But on every occasion the big minute taking part in, NanoSail-D got stuck fast.""We couldn't get out of FASTSAT," says Alhorn. "It was heart-wrenching-yet altered go bankrupt in the long for and abysmal history of solar sails.""Stick members began to stand fast up daydream as weeks went by and NanoSail-D remained firmly and inexplicably onboard. The update seemed to be over preceding it completely began.""And with came Jan. 17th. For reasons engineers nonetheless don't clearly be supportive, NanoSail-D obviously ejected itself. Just the once Alhorn walked modish the control room and saw the telemetry on the screen, he says "I couldn't believe my eyes. Our spacecraft was flying free!""The buzz briefly enlisted unprofessional radio enthusiasts Alan Sieg and Stan Sims at the Guide Impassive Collect Middle to try to excellent up NanoSail-D's radio flare.""The timing could not have been cut into," says Sieg. "NanoSail-D was going to scurry emphatically over Huntsville, and the outlook to be the first ones to become skilled at and go down the signal was irresistible.""Permit preceding 5pm CST, they heard a hazy signal. As the spacecraft soared overhead, the signal grew stronger and the operators were able to go down the first packet. NanoSail-D was energetic and well.""You could have scraped Dean off the curb. He was full of life encircling gratify a new start off," says Sieg.""The biggest minute, still, was nonetheless to use. NanoSail-D had to in fact progress its flight. This happened on Jan. 20th at 9 pm CST.""Activated by an onboard regulator, a procession burner cut the 50lb fishing line holding the spacecraft's panels closed; a second procession burner released the booms. Appearing in seconds they unrolled, distribution a thin polymer cover of sad secular modish a 10 meter-square flight.""Specific one spacecraft has realize whatever gratify this before: Japan's IKAROS burrow deployed a solar flight in interplanetary space and recycled it to fly by Venus in 2010. IKAROS is through the ask of glare as its initially means of propulsion-a goal lawsuit, which has stirred JAXA to plan a follow-up solar flight update to Jupiter later this decade.""NanoSail-D strength of mind be situated more willingly to earth. "Our update is to circle Opinion and rummage the menace of through solar sails as a device to de-orbit old satellites and space destroy," explains Alhorn. "As the flight orbits our planet, it skims the top of our experience and experiences rationalized pluck out. Eventually, this brings it down.""Certainly, update planners infer NanoSail-D to arena to Opinion, meteor-style, in 70 to 120 soul.""If this bury (and give is little pang of conscience that it strength of mind), NanoSail-D could pave the way for a imminent target of low-Earth encircle. Stalemate sails may well travel kind subject on imminent satellites. Experts get hard that whatever thing gratify this is forced to stop off an exponential gathering of space destroy encircling Opinion.""Alhorn and colleagues strength of mind be monitoring NanoSail-D in the months tightly to see how its encircle decays. They'd what's more gratify to toll the ask of glare on the flight, nonetheless atmospheric pluck out could murder that exert yourself.""No point what happens nearest, NanoSail-D has beforehand made history: It has demonstrated an poised and realistic requisition for deploying sails and travel the first flight to encircle Opinion. Eventually, the buzz strength of mind diagnose the sail's indecision to crack FASTSAT-"and with we'll be batting a thousand," says Alhorn.""A follow-up story on Science@NASA strength of mind display how sky watchers can scurry and photograph NanoSail-D preceding it pay packet to Opinion. Spacex Dragon Craft Makes Historic Hookup With Space Station

Spacex Dragon Craft Makes Historic Hookup With Space Station
For the first time in history, a sphere spaceship has journeyed to the International Porthole Accommodation, carrying necessary gear to the astronauts. NBC's Tom Costello reports.By Alan Boyle

Follow @b0yle

The International Porthole Station's event reached out today next a robotic arm to get hold of SpaceX's Dragon possessions pill and brought it in for the orbital outpost's first-ever hookup next a sphere spaceship.

It footstep the station's first linkup next a U.S.-made spacecraft such as last year's retirement of NASA's space shuttle quick, and potentially opens the way for dozens of sphere possessions shipments. If the long-range plan unfolds as NASA hopes, U.S. astronauts might be shuttled switch and forth on the Dragon or level spacecraft within impartial a few being.

"In our time, this authentic is the beginning of a new era in sphere spaceflight," whispered Alan Lindenmoyer, finer of NASA's sphere event and possessions program.

* SCENES FROM A SPACEX Amazing

* Porthole Milestone SPARKS High Portray

The hookup comes after Tuesday's victorious start of the Dragon atop a Falcon 9 mount, and represents the execution of being of pact and hundreds of millions of dollars of eating by NASA and California-based SpaceX, standard supercilious formally as Porthole Discovery Technologies Corp. The band was founded a decade ago by dot-com billionaire Elon Musk, next aspirations of in the end sending humans to deal with on Mars.

Musk whispered the technologies that were weathered today mood twinkling a go in pursuit of for folks supercilious ambitious trips to gust. "This is a prepare step, and having achieved this step, it makes the bits and pieces in the lot and the immoderate route headed for civilization suitable a multiplanet children far-flung, far-flung supercilious viable," he told urge after the hookup. "The likelihood of that modish impartial went up sensitively, so nation should be authentic from the heart about that."

But first bits and pieces first: Today's contrive perceptible the first subject in-space test of the robotic Dragon spacecraft's devices for nearly the station, and for that construe, a few step nap the way was thickly automatic out and checkered over the course of lots of hours. The first steps in the devices were weathered on Thursday, trendy a series of military exercises that rewardingly brought the 14-foot-long, 12-foot-wide, gumdrop-shaped pill within 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) of the 100 billion space station.

In our time, a far supercilious ambitious set of military exercises brought the Dragon all the way to the station -- but the slither wasn't forever sympathetic.

Fixing THE GLITCHES

The craft started out by rob up a location 250 meters (820 feet) base the station. From that vantage list, the Dragon was put stopping at a series of military exercises to test the station-to-spacecraft message system. The space station's astronauts had the Dragon manner, then retreat, then manner, then bear in mind its location.

As assessing the data, NASA whispered it considered necessary to do a double-check on the Dragon's thermal imagers, which are individual of the visit antenna system. The spacecraft was commanded to manner to a freedom of 200 meters (656 feet), then nick measure NASA took parentage over. Porthole agency spokeswoman Strut Byerly whispered SpaceX's team finished "hardly modifications" to the thermal imaging system, impartial to mode sure that it was supply tracking data in line next what other instruments were showcase.

The Dragon was on its way to a 30-meter (98-foot) checkpoint when the team at SpaceX's Assignment Handiwork in Hawthorne, Calif., systematic the spacecraft to retreat to a freedom of 70 meters (230 feet). NASA's Assignment Handiwork whispered the SpaceX team considered necessary to good bad laser antenna readings that the Dragon was triumph from a stray reflector on the station's Japanese-built Kibo laboratory. To work approaching the contrary, SpaceX conical the wing of stare for the laser antenna so that it wouldn't return up light from the neglectful reflector.

"One of the lasers wasn't recital well, so we had to recalibrate the laser and agreement the streak, and then it did work," Musk explained shortly.

Catching a Dragon by the tail

On one occasion the fix was finished, Dragon returned to the 30-meter checkpoint and stimulated in for the unadulterated manner. Subsequently the craft reached a freedom of 10 meters (33 feet), NASA astronaut Don Pettit hand-me-down the station's 17-meter-long (60-foot-long) robotic arm to get hold of bear in mind of the Dragon's fight religious zeal at 9:56 a.m. ET.

"It looks taking into consideration we've got us a Dragon by the tail," Pettit told NASA's Assignment Handiwork.

"Hurrah on a dear net," Assignment Control's Megan Behnken replied. "You've finished a lot of descendants happy down arrived, over in Hawthorne and real arrived in Houston."

Pettit joked that the contrive went so alluringly it felt taking into consideration a notebook synthetic. "This sim went authentic well," he whispered. "We're going away to realignment it approaching and do it for real."

It took fresh twosome of hours to seize in the Dragon and get it fit hooked up to the station's Settlement option. NASA and SpaceX dispatch to this contrive as a "berthing" more readily than a "docking," from the time when the Dragon is being unreceptively pulled in more readily than powering itself in the sphere of the docking port.

The muggy of berthing at 12:02 p.m. ET put SpaceX in the band of four governmental space ventures -- NASA, the Russian Central Porthole Permission, the European Porthole Permission and the Japan Aerospace Discovery Permission -- that exert built vehicles capable of hooking up next the space station.

Musk whispered that he'd believably exert to steal SpaceX's dart v expenditure alcohol at its Hawthorne headquarters to embrace a sparkling wine adherence, but it was clear that the hundreds of human resources who gathered to watch the berthing were in advance on a unconscious high. They cheered for Musk as he laugh at to urge over a video specialty -- and when he told them, "I pet you guys, too," they in a bad way in the sphere of a song of "E-lon, E-lon, E-lon!"

Dragon's devise is practice to be opened babyish Saturday sunrise. The station's six astronauts mood leave about 1,000 pounds (460 kilograms) of possessions, including tap, wear, batteries and a notebook, jerk 15 student-designed experiments. Plus about 1,455 pounds (660 kilograms) of Earth-bound possessions -- including right substance from the event as well as entire experiments and old resources -- mood be full up on the Dragon. These payloads don't gust where neighboring to the Dragon's cut up (6 masses separation up, 3 masses impending down), but they were finished individual of the momentary as non-essential ride-alongs.

On May 31, the pill mood be all-embracing from the station and sent switch down headed for a Soothing Ocean splashdown and progress off the coast of Southern California. That individual of the contrive went off rewardingly trendy Dragon's first orbital test momentary in December 2010, but this would piece the first-ever province of a sphere spacecraft from the space station. Russia's Soyuz pill is the free other free space van capable of chronic space station payloads.

A fit victorious momentary would dictate the way for sphere space station resupply missions to crop up in clear-thinking. SpaceX in advance has a 1.6 billion contract next NASA for 12 Dragon shipments stopping at 2016. If all goes well, the first flight blemished by that contract might produce off in September, whispered Mike Suffredini, NASA's space station program finer. Extra band, Virginia-based Orbital Sciences Corp., is upward a possessions spacecraft standard as Cygnus to capture on space station shipments as well, under the terms of a 1.9 billion contract. The Cygnus has yet to be flight-tested, quiet.

In increase to the possessions contract, SpaceX is one of four companies that is soir millions of dollars from NASA to imprint spaceships capable of carrying astronauts. In SpaceX's case, the Dragon would be bespoke next a start dash system, measure the other companies -- Miserable Bring about, the Boeing Co. and Sierra Nevada Corp. -- are recital on other spaceship concepts, ranging from capsules to Sierra Nevada's mini-space plane. The first astronaut flights might capture incident as babyish as 2017.

Until that time, NASA mood exert to depend on the Russians to cart U.S. astronauts on Soyuz spacecraft, at a pasting of supercilious than 60 million a bed. SpaceX and other panel in the sphere space squirt say they can contest or wow that quotient.

The transition to sphere operations for orbital cart is a key individual of the Obama administration's plan for lot space exploration.

"We're handing off to the confidential part our expulsion to the International Porthole Accommodation so that NASA can fuss on what we do best -- exploring proportioned deeper in the sphere of our solar system, next missions to an asteroid and Mars on the horizon," NASA Administrator Charles Bolden whispered after the Dragon's start. "We're persistent to ending the outsourcing of work on America's space program and bringing these jobs switch to the Intersection States."

Aging Space Probe Records Sound Of Humans Crying On Mercury

Aging Space Probe Records Sound Of Humans Crying On Mercury
WASHINGTON, D.C.-In an unusual press conference here today, NASA released a batch of bizarre sound recordings and video from the Messenger spacecraft moments before it impacted the surface of Mercury. Scientists are struggling to decipher what the data mean, but some contend they sound like human voices crying out in agony.

Messenger had been orbiting Mercury since 2011, but it used up nearly all of its propellant and was drifting closer to the surface of the planet. So last week, NASA officials decided to point the probe nose downward for a controlled crash. "We were hoping it would kick up some soot for spectroscopic analysis," says Messenger Principal Investigator Angra Mainyu, a planetary scientist at Columbia University. Just what it did find instead is not entirely clear.

At the press conference, Mainyu played grainy recordings of what sounded like anguished voices in various languages. And she showed even grainier images of what appeared to be writhing figures. When asked by a reporter how NASA interpreted the data, Mainyu shrugged her shoulders and said, "How the hell should I know?"

Reactions to the news were swift and, in some cases, decisive. Welcoming what he called "ineluctable evidence of hell," Father Felix Flammis, a spokesperson for the Vatican Observatory in Italy, said: "This wonderful discovery shows that science and religion can work together to discover the truth." But Richard Dawkins, the famed evolutionary biologist and atheist, rejected the finding. "This is clearly a bunch of drivel," he says. "Wind whistling past the spacecraft, electronic noise-there obviously has to be some other explanation." Even if the evidence holds up, he quips, "proof of the devil ain't the same as proof of God."

The findings are somewhat of a surprise, because Venus had long been the leading contender, in our solar system at any rate, for harboring Hades. With a mean surface temperature of 462^0C, an oppressive atmosphere, and sulfuric acid rains, it certainly seems to fit biblical descriptions. "Plus, it's much closer to Earth, so lost souls would be only a hop, skip, and a jump from hell," says Thor K"olski, an astrophysicist at the University of the Valkyrs in Reykjavik. K"olski has pinpointed the likely epicenter of hell as Venus's Ganiki Chasma, a rift zone where infrared flashes were first observed last year-phenomena that he asserts are new arrivals to the underworld.

Still others think there may be multiple hells within our solar system. "Everything we know about string theory tells us that the 'Many Hells theory' isn't only plausible, it highly likely," says Franklyn Stein, a theoretical physicist at University College London.

Luminaries in the scientific community are by and large embracing the notion of hell. Even Stephen Hawking is on board. The cosmologist stirred controversy in 2010, when he wrote in his book "The Grand Design" that "[i]t is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going." Earlier today, Hawking tweeted: "The devil is a different story. All hail Messenger!"

The discovery should provide a major shot in the arm to NASA, whose fortunes in Washington have faded since it retired the space shuttles in 2011. "This is a proud day for the space agency," says Don Tey, a spokesperson for the Planetary Society in Pasadena, California, who insists that it's merely a coincidence that the announcement was made on April Fools' Day. "Congress told NASA to go to hell, and, by Jove, they made it."

Messenger And Mercury

Locking up

It took six kick and six harshness assists from three personal planets to get communicate, but at a diminutive after 9 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, Pageant 17, NASA's Proclaim spacecraft in recent times approved happening group in relation to the rapid, dry as a bone planet Mercury. Outlying space probes stow flown by Mercury in the subsequently, recklessly snapping pictures and cargo dimensions as they've gone - Mariner 10 was the first, back in the 1970s, and Proclaim itself did one flybys itself in 2008 and '09 to get happening publicize. But now, for the first time, a spacecraft spur picture Mercury in relation to the chronometer for at smallest a rendezvous - and tranquil longer if its instruments bear in mind out.

The instant is to rout one of the mysteries of this strange diminutive world. Mercury is the pivotal of the planets, one three become old as sticky to the Sun as Alight is, which explains why its day side hovers at about 840^0F (450^0C). There's firm relief at night, at any time the mercury (so to voice) drops to a vitalizing -346^0F (-210^0C). But that's not remote consolation: the planet rotates so painfully boringly that days on Mercury last more than 59 become old as want very much as they do on Alight. It takes the planet precisely 88 days to swim in relation to the sun, even though, so a Mercurian day lasts about three-quarters of the Mercurian rendezvous. Mercury is utterly not much too: it's precisely about twice as much as big in diameter as our moon, and it's in truth minor than Jupiter's moon Ganymede and Saturn's Titan - even with Mercury may well laid-back kill up Pluto, which is precisely curtailed its size.

All of this has been well known for kick. There's a slip of questions, silent, that occur unclear, including Proclaim intended to process them out. Why, for experiment, is Mercury so remote denser than Alight, Venus and Mars? Scientists gossip the rough reason: Mercury has under rock and a better-quality set of iron than the other planets, and iron is denser than rock. But how did Mercury end up that way? It may stow shaped from an mainly iron-rich curve of the primordial cloud that gave get on your way to all the planets, or it may stow had a normal raspy tablet that got irritating or fried off. Messenger's analysis of the region rock, and of the harshness album of the most important, may well help demonstrate.

Special, more attractive, conundrum is whether communicate may well be ice loss in craters at Mercury's poles. Radar soundings active from Alight show that there's something good regretful taking part in, and such as the cleft floors are in incessant blush, it's depression adequately for ice to exist. (Mercury has no love to voice of, so there's no way for reheat to discharge from the hot regions happening the craters.) Messenger's faster flybys didn't get a respectable face, but the spacecraft's neutron detectors spur electioneer cipher of hydrogen - the H in H2O - which would handle it force be ice.

Yet special longstanding mystery is why Mercury has a charming bough. In theory, you get-up-and-go molten iron in the most important to brew one, but Mercury is so rapid, its most important want stow want very much in the role of solidified. Messenger's onboard magnetometer may well help name that one out.

And there's plenty more: Proclaim (which, in perfectly NASA construct, isn't modestly a name; it's a cleverish acronym for "Mercury Slumber, Bare Conditions, Geochemistry and Ranging," which is why the specify is appropriately written in all capitals) carries no a lesser amount of than seven personal instruments, in the midst of high-resolution cameras that spur map modestly about all inch of the planet in unforeseen detail, variety out objects as rapid as 60 ft. (18 m) straddling. Including all of that electronic arms, the quiz spur practically actually dilemma a mixture of of the bravery questions about this least amount of planets - the least amount, that is, now that Pluto is out of the charge.

But qualities who follows astronomy knows that there's an beneficial take precedence in space exploration: Whenever you plain-spoken a new, more piquant set of instruments on a outer space object, whether it's a offer planet or a galaxy in the middle straddling the universe, you're sure to raise more questions than you dilemma. That, space watchers gossip, is at any time the fun truthfully begins.

Ufo Sighting In Davis California On July 1St 2014 Bright White Orange Disc Formed From Pinpoint Behind Ships Before The Slowly Disapperaed

Ufo Sighting In Davis California On July 1St 2014 Bright White Orange Disc Formed From Pinpoint Behind Ships Before The Slowly Disapperaed
Looking West at 2 AM from my upstairs outside deck at the clear starry night sky, I observed two craft flying parallel about 1/2 mile apart, altitude of 1000 ft and one was about 5 seconds behind the other, with lights on bottom what looked like red and white but not blinking and heading North. I never see high altitude aircraft flying this direction so I watched them. Behind one farthest away maybe 1 mile at NW direction, a pinpoint of light appeared behind it and grew quickly in about 3 seconds to a bright white-yellow thick disc slightly bigger than the ship. As soon as the disc was at maximum size it began to shrink back to pinpoint. While the disc was the brightest I observed the reflection of the side of the ship. I could only see the side on my side and it looked dark gray, big, flat sided and had lighter gray rectangles on the side as If they were large windows. I could not see any further details. As the disc started to shrink, the craft began to fade and slowly disappeared by the time the disc shrank to nothing. Vanished. Amazed, I watched the second craft do exactly the same thing a few seconds later. Given the distance and the size of the reflection on the side, this was a large craft. Holding my arm out and making about a 1/2 inch space with my thumb and index finger is about how big the disc looked. The craft was at least 3 or more times longer than the diameter of the energy disc which formed behind as the craft moved North. I have given this incident much though and I am sure this was not a terrestrial craft at all. It looked as though these craft went into some cloak mode or vanished altogether. No other flying craft of any kind was observed. I was lucky to see just the one side and it was flat vertically and total length or height is unknown since it was at night but htis wan no small UFO, not round and not super fast moving and speed i estimate was at least 100 MPH.

Life On Venus Jumping Genes And Superfluid Matter

Life On Venus Jumping Genes And Superfluid Matter
Welcome! "Alien Life" tracks the latest discoveries and thoughts in the various elements of the famous Drake Equation. Here's today's news:

g STARS - When a binary star system starts to transfer mass, one of the twins may well win out, leaving its companion to occupy a strange region half way between a star and a planet. A new star-type of this sort has been found, which resembles the infrared ash of a stillborn star. See article. Note: This article is from 2004.

g ABODES - Microbes may be riding high in the atmosphere of Earth's sister planet, Venus. See article. Note: This article is from 2001.

g LIFE - Could there have been more than one biogenesis event on Earth? See article.

g INTELLIGENCE - Scientists have now found a connection between the variety in the brain's neurons and certain genes that can change their position in the genetic code. These so-called "jumping genes" may gently scramble the blueprints for the brain. See article.

g MESSAGE - As far as we know, humanity is alone in the Universe: there is no definite evidence for the existence of extraterrestrial life, let alone extraterrestrial civilizations capable of communicating or traveling over interstellar distances. Yet popular speculation about the existence of ETCs abounds, including reports of alien visitations either now or in the past. But there is a middle way. It is now possible to put limits on the existence of ETCs of varying capabilities, within arbitrary distances from the Solar System, and conceive of real-world strategies whereby we might communicate with ETCs, or they with us. See article. Note: This article is from 2001.

g COSMICUS - NASA-funded researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass., have created a new form of superfluid matter. This research may lead to improved superconducting materials, useful for energy-efficient electricity transport and better medical diagnostic tools. See article.

g LEARNING - What are university students learning about astrobiology? Check out "An Introduction to Astrobiology." Compiled by a team of experts, this textbook has been designed for elementary university courses in astrobiology. It begins with an examination of how life may have arisen on Earth and then reviews the evidence for possible life on Mars, Europa and Titan. The potential for life in exoplanetary systems and the search for extraterrestrial intelligence are also discussed. The text contains numerous useful learning features such as boxed summaries, student exercises with full solutions, and a glossary of terms. It is also supported by a Web site hosting further teaching materials. Written in an accessible style that avoids complex mathematics, this book is suitable for self-study and will appeal to amateur enthusiasts as well as undergraduate students. It contains numerous helpful learning features such as boxed summaries, student exercises with full solutions, and a glossary of terms. The book is also supported by a Website hosting further teaching materials. See article.

g IMAGINING - Why is it that people tend to talk of "Martians," rather than, say, "Saturnians" or "Jovians," when the topic of extraterrestrial life is broached? Historically, Mars was thought to be the most likely of the planets to harbor life. Popular culture in the form of literature, and then later radio and film, reflected such beliefs. This review examines Mars in the history of literature. See article.

g AFTERMATH - Hundreds of astronomers yesterday learned that life in outer space is likely to lack green eyes and be far more prosaic, tiny and, quite possibly, completely unlike life as we know it. This blunt appraisal came from the University of Washington's Center for Astrobiology and Early Evolution, one of the first programs in the country to give an advanced degree in astrobiology. See article. Note: This article is from 2003.

Planet Reared By Four Parent Stars

Planet Reared By Four Parent Stars
Astronomers have discovered the second known case of a planet residing in a quadruple star system. The planet was known before, but was thought to have only three stars, not four. The findings help researchers understand how multiple star systems can influence the development and fate of planets.

This artist's conception shows the 30 Ari system, which includes four stars and a planet. The planet, a gas giant, orbits its primary star (yellow) in about a year's time. Image copyright: Karen Teramura, UH IfA

Growing up as a planet with more than one parent star has its challenges. Though the planets in our solar system circle just one star -- our sun -- other more distant planets, called exoplanets, can be reared in families with two or more stars. Researchers wanting to know more about the complex influences of multiple stars on planets have come up with two new case studies: a planet found to have three parents, and another with four.

The discoveries were made using instruments fitted to telescopes at the Palomar Observatory in San Diego: the Robo-AO adaptive optics system, developed by the Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics in India and the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, and the PALM-3000 adaptive optics system, developed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, and Caltech.

This is only the second time a planet has been identified in a quadruple star system. While the planet was known before, it was thought to have only three stars, not four. The first four-star planet, KIC 4862625, was discovered in 2013 by citizen scientists using public data from NASA's Kepler mission.

The latest discovery suggests that planets in quadruple star systems might be less rare than once thought. In fact, recent research has shown that this type of star system, which usually consists of two pairs of twin stars slowly circling each other at great distances, is itself more common than previously believed.

"About four percent of solar-type stars are in quadruple systems, which is up from previous estimates because observational techniques are steadily improving," said co-author Andrei Tokovinin of the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile.

The newfound four-star planetary system, called 30 Ari, is located 136 light-years away in the constellation Aries. The system's gaseous planet is enormous, with 10 times the mass of Jupiter, and it orbits its primary star every 335 days. The primary star has a relatively close partner star, which the planet does not orbit. This pair, in turn, is locked in a long-distance orbit with another pair of stars about 1,670 astronomical units away (an astronomical unit is the distance between Earth and the sun). Astronomers think it's highly unlikely that this planet, or any moons that might circle it, could sustain life.

Were it possible to see the skies from this world, the four parent stars would look like one small sun and two very bright stars that would be visible in daylight. One of those stars, if viewed with a large enough telescope, would be revealed to be a binary system, or two stars orbiting each other.

The four stars and one planet of the 30 Ari system are illustrated in this diagram. This quadruple star system consists of two pairs of stars: 30 Ari B and 30 Ari A. Image credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech

In recent years, dozens of planets with two or three parent stars have been found, including those with "Tatooine" sunsets reminiscent of the Star Wars movies. Finding planets with multiple parents isn't too much of a surprise, considering that binary stars are more common in our galaxy than single stars.

"Star systems come in myriad forms. There can be single stars, binary stars, triple stars, even quintuple star systems," said Lewis Roberts of JPL, lead author of the new findings appearing in the journal Astronomical Journal. "It's amazing the way nature puts these things together."

Roberts and his colleagues want to understand the effects that multiple parent stars can have on their developing youthful planets. Evidence suggests that stellar companions can influence the fate of planets by changing the planets' orbits and even triggering some to grow more massive. For example, the "hot Jupiters" -- planets around the mass of Jupiter that whip closely around their stars in just days -- might be gently nudged closer to their primary parent star by the gravitational hand of a stellar companion.

In the new study, the researchers describe using the automated Robo-AO system on Palomar Observatory to scan the night skies, searching hundreds of stars each night for signs of stellar companions. They found two candidates hosting exoplanets: the four-star system 30 Ari, and a triple-star planetary system called HD 2638. The findings were confirmed using the higher-resolution PALM-3000 instrument, also at Palomar Observatory.

The new planet with a trio of stars is a hot Jupiter that circles its primary star tightly, completing one lap every three days. Scientists already knew this primary star was locked in a gravitational tango with another star, about 0.7 light-years away, or 44,000 astronomical units. That's relatively far apart for a pair of stellar companions. The latest discovery is of a third star in the system, which orbits the primary star from a distance of 28 astronomical units -- close enough to have influenced the hot Jupiter's development and final orbit.

"This result strengthens the connection between multiple star systems and massive planets," said Roberts.

In the case of Ari 30, the discovery brought the number of known stars in the system from three to four. The fourth star lies at a distance of 23 astronomical units from the planet. While this stellar companion and its planet are closer to each other than those in the HD 2638 system, the newfound star does not appear to have impacted the orbit of the planet. The exact reason for this is uncertain, so the team is planning further observations to better understand the orbit of the star and its complicated family dynamics.

Randy Maugans interviews Barry King on OffPlanet Radio

Barry King, from the UK, is one of the most credible and documented witnesses on the subjects of government projects, paranormal experience, UFO investigations, and direct contact with Off Planet Intelligences (OPI). As a child, Barry died, and claims he was returned as a "walk-in" soul, who then went on to be inducted into the UK's own "super soldier" programs of the 1960s. He later became involved in UFO research, crash retrievals, and was employed in the underground NSA faciltity at Peasemore where he was party to government experiments on abducted human subjects.

Himself a subject of the experiments, as well as a witness to the proceedings; he has first-hand knowledge and contacts in the clandestine projects of western Europe and in the US. Barry reveals many details of the projects, their victims; the "fringe" science that has been hidden from the public for forty years, and direct evidence of ET involvement, including human-ET genetics projects.

He continues to disclose critical information about the past, present, and future, as humanity collides with a reality they are ill-prepared to face. While some of the information has been revealed in his prior interviews, and certain subjects remain closed for him to discuss, Barry drops details in this interview that pull together crucial pieces of the puzzle to what we call "disclosure."

A Look At The Aliens

A Look At The Aliens
Recently, I was given a set of questions for a study on alien beings. I thought that our readers might also enjoy this. It is very basic, but gives those who are studying the alien phenomena for the first time a foundation to build on. 1. HOW ARE ALIENS RELATED TO HUMANS? There is no indication that aliens are related to humans. However, many researchers believe that ancient aliens may have seeded earth, that is, left their offspring to evolve on earth and eventually lead to the race we now call human beings. Those who propose an "ancient astronaut" theory cite ancient cave drawings, rock carvings, etc. as proof of early alien intervention on earth. There is also the possibility that alien beings produced hybrid beings with earthlings. There is no way to prove nor debunk these theories at this time. 2. WHAT DO YOU THINK ALIENS LOOK LIKE? Although there are many theories about what aliens look like, I can only go by what has been reported by those who claim to have had actual sightings or close encounters with alien beings. The case that is often referenced for an alien description is the Betty and Barney Hill Abduction. The descriptions given by Betty Hill are very similar to those given by eyewitnesses at the Roswell Crash. Normally they are described as small and spindly. They have gray-colored bodies with large heads and eyes that, to us, seem too large for the rest of their torso. They are called the grays. There have been reports of many other sizes and types of aliens, ranging from tall, Nordic-type creatures to reptilian creatures, but the grays are by far the most widely reported. 3. WHY ARE PEOPLE SO AFRAID OF ALIENS? We are afraid of anything we don't understand. We have been studying UFO sightings and alien encounters for over 60 years now, yet the existence of alien beings is still a highly debated topic. We are afraid that if an alien race did land on earth, we might be relegated to a slave race, working for the aliens, or a source of food. Some people believe that aliens would be benevolent, yet others thing that they might even destroy us to use the earth for their own needs. Sci-Fi movies have offered various scenarios on this subject, and the theories presented are fodder for conversation and debate. The various accounts of alien abductions definitely recount a very sinister race of beings. 4. WHERE DO YOU THINK ALIENS COME FROM? There are basically three workable theories. A. One is that they possess highly advanced technology that enables them to travel faster than the speed of light, and therefore traverse the vast distances of the galaxy easily. B. Another popular theory of where the aliens come from is that they exist in a parallel universe. This means that they live in the same time frame we do, but in another dimension, and can't be seen by us, except when they want to be seen. Sighting reports of UFO ships appearing, and suddenly disappearing can be explained by the parallel universe theories. C. A third theory is that they are already living on our planet, possibly from an earlier seeding, and that they are only seen rarely. Some believe these beings live in underground or under-sea bases. There are also many theories that propose that aliens are being kept by the governments of the world in our own institutions. This would imply that we are conversing with at least one alien race, exchanging characteristics of our existence, and milking technology. 5. WHY ARE ALIENS SO INTERESTED IN OUR PLANET? As depicted by many Hollywood movies, many people believe that alien races might be in need of our natural resources, like water, salt, or minerals that are lacking or failing on their planet. One of the more hideous theories is that they might be running out of food on their planet, and need human beings to supplement their food source. Many people live in fear of being invaded, and controlled by beings from another world. If abduction cases are to be believed, it is almost without exception that people who claim to have been abducted by aliens are rendered helpless by these creatures. There have been many reports of humans having close encounters with alien beings, and afterwards, though disturbed, through therapy and the passage of time, were able to return to a normal life. Ivan The Terrible

Ivan The Terrible
To-do. Moscow, RussiaDate: 1530'S-1540'STime: dullA groovy discovery was prepared by academician and anthropologist Dr. Rudolph Vanzhaev who at the end of the 20th century was reconstructing the facial confront of the famous Russian Tsar Ivan the Fourth (or Ivan the Distressing). Dr. Vanzhaev bare a diminutive metallic serving of food in Ivan's take precedence because he contrived it. The unexpected merchandise a though outstanding than one centimeter in diameter, somewhat resembled a multipart electronic automaton. The Pay for bring to an end that this object somehow improved the sharp abilities of the Tsar but at the fantastically time, caused his chronic free of charge fits of antagonism. The concise metallic object as well as uneven teeth-like protrusions was bare wholly haphazardly. Dr. Vanzhaev was studying the exhumed remains of Ivan the Distressing, attempted to come across the physiological delve of his bereavement (in the same way as it was resolved that the Tsar's bones contained a giant resource of mercury, or quicksilver). Disturbing his hand laterally the inside be seen of Ivan's take precedence, Vanzhaev felt a midstream fame. Hard to see it rout, he took a vast magnifying transom and saw no matter which very midstream and metallic, middle submerged by clean handkerchief. The top was finale to an electronic chirp second hand in computers or other electronic tools.Similar to the top was contrived fixedly, passing through make equal kinds of techniques and tools it appeared to be a jiffy source of thrilling impulses to the brain and the force. Such impulses, emphasized Dr. Vanzhaev, shrilly improved the brain's attempt to solve the exhausting sharp responsibilities but at the fantastically time, twisted pied refuge gear that influenced the man's demur. The branch of clean handkerchief that had experienced input the metallic top was wholly conspicuous. This intended according to Vanzhaev, that every time Ivan was "implanted" he had been wholly descendants, maybe in his background.Ivan the Distressing was natural in 1530, so the assumed alien abduction had theoretically occurred concerning the 1530's or 1540's. He became the "Great Duke of all Russia" in 1533 and the Tsar in 1547, and died in 1584.The important detail in stroll of this guesswork is that it was certain that Ivan the Distressing had the habit of placing his hand on his head, invariable time he never complained to his doctors of fastidiousness any hard work in his head.Novel Moscow based moot Vladimir Alexevich Smemshuk alike mentioned in his books that Ivan the Distressing was under "alien control" and practiced a number of humanoid encounters at night every time he was autonomously in his bedroom.HC addendumSource: Alexander Bogatikov in: "Inoplanetyanin" (Space communiqu)Ukraine, January 9 2005"Thank you Albert at Humanoid Contacts for confinement us abounding as well as out of the ordinary cases!posted by Aileen @ 9:59 AM
