My date and times are approximate. I was assigned as a Police Helicopter Observer with the Pasadena Police Department and flying night patrol. The pilot was Pat Spafford. In the northeast area of Pasadena, very close to the foothills, we observed what appeared to be a Military Sikorsky helicopter hovering very low over a residential area. The helicopter was turning its landing light off and on. As we got closer, it gained elevation and started heading westbound. Being curious we started to follow it.
We were approximately at 1,000 ft. AGL. The military helicopter then appeared to lose altitude quickly as if it was going into auto rotation. Then about 300 meters past it, we saw what first appeared to be a large object looking like bunch of big balloons tied together. The object was going at our exact airspeed, which was about 60 mph. The object was round and appeared to be rotating. I saw no lights on it. Pat began yelling over the intercom that he was seeing a UFO. I immediately shut off our running lights so I could activate our "night star" search light.
The running lights were shut off because there would be too many amps going through the system with all the lights on and pop a breaker. Shutting off the running lights to power up the searchlight was S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedure) Pat questioned what I was doing, and when I told him I was going to "light it up", he said, "No," and turned the running lights back on. We had a short argument about doing this or not, but he got the final word because he was the pilot. We watched the object for a few minutes and it flew abeam us going west. We then noticed that there was some fog coming in the L. A. basin, which was a signal for us to fly back to Bracket Field in Pomona, where we hangared the helicopter so as not to get caught in the fog. As we approached the west end of the city near the Rose Bowl, this object gained speed and in just a few seconds accelerated towards the L. A. skyline and disappeared out of sight. The speed it went was faster than supersonic. We were both amazed at how fast it accelerated.
We came back to the hangar and immediately started making calls. Pat called LAX to see if they had any such object on their radar. He got a "negative" from them. I called JPL in Pasadena to see if they had any kind of experiment going on and they said no. I was taken back by the response I got from them because the person I spoke to sounded like this was an everyday occurrence. We both wrote an incident report and turned it in.
I kept this to myself until one day, about 2 weeks later, the Police Chief saw me in the hallway and yelled, "Hey Al, did you see any more giant Frisbees?" In fact, I recall it being a starry night, and marveling at how the object blacked out the stars."
The witness says the "clincher" came two days later.
"I had just gotten up and was having coffee and breakfast in a local restaurant. They had a local newspaper available, which I picked up. As I was eating, again my eyeballs popped out when I saw a little article about how local farmers were very annoyed by unexplained, triangular burn marks in their fields. I recall no details from the article, which was very short anyway."
The witness is sorry that no evidence was collected.
"Oh how I wish I had kept that newspaper; I did not. I took no pictures. I have nothing but my memory and and a notation in my diary of what I saw that night. It is sharp, except for things like directions (N, S, E, W), time, etc. I know it was the summer or early fall, because the weather was very warm."
The witness is unsure of exactly how large the craft was or far away it was.
"Also, it was impossible to say the distance to the craft or its size. There was nothing to contrast it against. However, it seemed to me to be flying low. It didn't seem to be huge or anything. Sure was a perfect triangle. Not one light to be seen on it. We had no phones, so I don't know if they would have been affected. I never felt fear or threatened; only astonishment. I am 100 percent certain that I saw a UFO that night. I will never forget it. I simply desire that my sighting be added to the history of sightings for that year and that place. Who knows? Maybe it'll help one day."

Maybe Earth was sort of a Hawaii type of environment (planet wise) after the big dinosaurs were consciously extincted 65 million years ago when the Asteroid planet first blew up from thermonuclear explosions (as a Soviet Russian probe they sent their proved unequivocally in the 1970s) This was also written about in either Isvestia and Pravda by the way or both. A friend of mine fluent in 20 or more languages read about this at the time he sasid in Pravda (a Soviet Newpaper). He was once District Attorney of Santa Cruz County in California before he became a Jesuit priest and had an IQ of about 200.
So, let's imagine what happened when the nuclear explosions killed everyone who didn't get away in some kind of space ship from the Asteroid belt planet. (Some call this ancient planet Maldek)
The richest ones likely went to a planet that was home to the human race before they settled here on the Asteroid Belt PLanet, Mars and eventually (after they killed all the larger dinosaurs) or an asteroid from the planet that blew up simply found it's way on it's own to the gulf of Mexico and by creating the Gulf of Mexico it killed all the largest dinosaurs within 2 years of that time. At that point, Earth was habitable by humanoids without worrying about the mayhem from the biggest dinosaurs eating them.
So, maybe they came to earth and here we are today as likely hybrids of the Asteroid belt planet genetically engineered with the Great Apes as a humanoid ape hybrid which reduced the life span we once had but increase our natural immunity many hundred or thousand fold by doing this.
So, maybe our ancestors (who all live a really long time) are observing their half Humanoid brothers and sisters here on earth. Maybe they want us to live and to evolve.
But, they don't want us to be a physical threat to them either. So, what do they do?
First they let us have atomic weapons to see if we will blow ourselves out of existence like our ancestors did on the Asteroid belt planet. Next, they crash UFOs at Roswell and in Europe, Russia, China and all over the world which jump starts our digital revolution a lot like our industrial revolution of 200 or more years ago.
Then they wait. Will we evolve into a more stable society with birth control and planned parenthood where we don't just blow ourselves up with nukes or overpopulate until there is a pandemic which wipes us all out or cause global warming to the point where all or most people die?
So, I guess what I'm saying is what we are now experiencing might be a "Stress Test" just like the government stress tests banks after the Great Recession.
Will we survive the test as humans here on earth?
