I expect to grow the blog with a lot more news in the field and new research, some humorous pieces as always, adding in a lot more video taken on trips and in crazy places you may never want to visit in person. I'd like to try my hand at some 5-minute documentaries. I also would like to grow other paranormal realms on the blog from PSI to horror, Bigfoot to UFOs. I hope to conduct some interesting studies in 2012 in the realm of the paranormal and I will be sharing those regularly. Generally, I've come to know that you can't predict what I'll do next. Even I don't know! So, hold on tight and continue to be the best damn tribe of friends and inquisitive minds a woman could ever know.

ACCORDING TO THE DETAILS AND WHAT IS SAID ON THE VIDEO AS THIS UNBELIEVABLE SIGHTING WAS HAPPENING, A MILITARY HELICOPTER ALSO SHOWED UP ON THE SCENE.
THEY JUST KEPT COMING..... IF THIS MANY UNIDENTIFIED, ORB-LIKE OBJECTS ARE COMING AND GOING AT WILL, THEN IT COULD BE SAID WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN INVADED, WHICH BEGS THE QUESTION OF WHY THIS ISN'T BEING SHOWN ON EVERY SINGLE NEWS STATION THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY?

SEPTEMBER 13TH, I FILMED ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING UFO SIGHTINGS OF MY LIFE. I WAS LOOKING TROUGH A WINDOW IN A RESTAURANT IN SURESNES, WHEN I SAW A STRANGE LONG SILVER OBJECT CROSSING THE SKY REALLY SLOWLY. I THOUGHT IT WAS A ZEPPELIN, BUT WHEN I WATCHED THE VIDEO AND ZOOMED, I UNDERSTOOD IT WAS NOT. A REALLY CLEAR SAUCER-SHAPE, NO ANY WINGS IN THE BACK OF IT, NO PROPELLER. A SYMMETRIC DISC-SHAPE.
Later, I noticed two strange lights following it, they were probably escorting it, maybe two other UFOs or even the air force?
I didn't have my camcorder with me, I was in a restaurant, but fortunately I could film it, and in HD. :-)

This entire "strange box on beach" mystery has shown us, once again, how silly things can get. Because there was recent UFO activity in the area (and that part of the coast is active, UFO wise) the illogical and melodramatic conclusion was that the boxes had some connection with UFOs. Various players: artists, UFO "reporters" who are, seemingly, of the hoaxing kind, debunkers who hurl insults and paint anything to do with UFOs as a pathology, and so on.

On Friday Morning, February 20, the first speaker was Ruben Uriarte, longtime MUFON investigator and State Director for Northern California. I first met Ruben on the UFO Tour of Mexico we took in 1996. He was one of the organizers. We didn't see any UFOs, but we saw some great places in Mexico and had a lot of fun. It was good to see him again after many years.

James Gilliland
Next was JAMES GILLILAND, WHO CALLS HIS GROUP ECETI - Enlightened Contact with Extraterrestrial Intelligence. He has a ranch in rural Washington state, where he and those who visit him claim to see all manner of implausible things. In fact, he says that ET ships have been seen at his ranch every night for thirteen years! Gilliland showed a night vision video of bugs flying about. He also showed some photos of Fairy Beings and Gnomes obtained there.
Among the claims that Gilliland made in his alloted time: Chemtrails, Black Helicopters, microwave psychotronics (i.e., mind control), and beings coming through a wall. We have cures for everything, but it's being suppressed. He showed videos of a door that opens up in the mountain, and objects go in and out. (You have to use a lot of imagination to see that door.) He showed a video excerpt from the show Paranormal State Illustrated where "psychic" Chip Coffey came out to the ECETI ranch, and predicted the time of a UFO appearance. However, since UFOs are apparently seen there almost constantly, the prediction, while reasonably specific, was not surprising. Gilliland plaintively asked: with so many sightings, why is the ECETI group marginalized, even in the UFO community? Earth to James: even many UFO believers have a limit of how many weird claims they are willing to accept.
Joshua P. Warren
Next JOSHUA P. WARREN SPOKE ON THE BROWN MOUNTAIN LIGHTS. He has made extraordinary claims on just about every 'paranormal' cable TV show there is. He mentioned the USGS investigations of the alleged lights, and just about everything he said about that was counter-factual. The USGS could, and did, explain the lights. This has been written about in UFO books for decades.
He thinks that the lights are naturally-produced plasmas, and that reports of strange military activity in the area means that the military wants to study the lights. He showed a few videos of Bug UFOs, then talked about the "Wishing Machine" he is selling, which operates using the "Law of Attraction." He also teaches an expensive seminar on how to use that machine.

Mark Pilkington
Next was Mark Pilkington, whose book (now also a movie) Mirage Men" purports to show how military and intelligence operators have shaped and exploited belief in UFOs. He called his talk "The Abuses of Enchantment." I would have to say that Pilkington is not a man who gets directly to the point.
While I can agree that such involvement has been shown to happen a few times, including incidents outside the United States - for example, he cites a Rand Corporation paper on exploiting local superstitions - I don't see how this has any real significance for our understanding of the UFO circus. I had only a brief opportunity to speak to him afterward. I said I didn't think such instances were of much significance to the UFO scene as a whole, and he agreed. I think what he was saying was that military and intelligence involvement was responsible for shaping the public perception of a UFO cover-up, which is at least partly true. Like I said, he doesn't get directly to the point, but if you can figure out what he means he seems to be pretty skeptical. Somebody asked him about crop circles - are there any that are not of human origin? Pilkington's answer: no, except for a few simple ones which may be of meteorological origin. (Thus none are made by aliens.)

At the Film Festival in the evening, I stayed to watch the new movie Travis", which tells the story of the alleged UFO abduction of Travis Walton in 1975 (as does the 1993 Hollywood film "Fire in the Sky", which they says is less accurate in depicting the "facts"). The movie is pretty well made, telling the story of the alleged abduction, albeit by a highly selective presentation of events. Much is made of the six woodcutters, five of whom barely knew Walton at all, passing a police polygraph test. This is not as significant as they make it, because the questions asked were primarily to determine whether Travis (still "missing") was murdered, and his body dumped in the woods. Most likely only Travis and his buddy Mike Rogers (driving the truck) were "in on" the hoax - the other five woodcutters had no idea what was going on. Hence they could truthfully say that they didn't murder Travis, and they saw an unknown object in the woods. At least one other person needed to be in the woods, to work the light show.
Completely concealed, however, was the fact that Travis had flunked a polygraph examination, paid for by the "National Enquirer", and administered by the most experienced examiner in the state of Arizona, who concluded that Travis was practicing "gross deception." APRO (which was promoting Walton's story) and the "National Enquirer" concealed this embarrassing fact. Walton later passed a different polygraph test (for which he had adequate time to prepare), but failed a later one on the 2008 TV show "Moment of Truth". In reality, if someone is anticipating taking a polygraph exam, and practices for it, they have a very good chance of fooling the examiner. The skeptic's case against the Walton "abduction" is summarized here on my debunker.com website.
This movie clearly displays "Philip J. Klass Derangement Syndrome", spending about ten minutes raving about him and denouncing him (the Walton camp hates Klass because he blew the whistle on Travis' polygraph failure, and other things, that they concealed). They repeat the unfounded claim that Klass tried to bribe Steve Pierce 10,000 to say that the case was a hoax (I have already shown that archive documents support Klass' version of events).

After that movie, I went over to the pool area of the hotel where Ben Hansen was holding a sky view, to demonstrate some very expensive night vision equipment that he wants to sell to credulous UFO buffs. The sky was mostly cloudy, so Hansen pointed his camera at stars wherever the clouds weren't, and looked for anomalous objects. He didn't see any, and he explained quite well what was happening whenever an airplane or bird flew across the view. Such equipment, in the hands of someone who doesn't understand it well, will produce all kinds of "sightings" (mostly bugs, birds, aircraft, and satellites), but it won't show you anything that you can't see with a good pair of binoculars.

I sat down expecting the be in charge of of the polish bylaw Bizarre Raid movie and to my launch was moderately hectic in vogue the lives of the script on the screen and guise the enormously horrors and shocks as they did. At this last part the order are called, the severity system is reactivated (it had been deactivated while Daniel lost his job due to downsizing) and ram go from bad to cut.
In all this absurdity Keri Russell's skin tone realizes that science, mutual sense and her husband's disproof request not hide her outline and she seeks out the city's get ready UFOlogist, Edwin Pollar, played by J.K. Simmons.

Between 1:00 pm and 2:00 p.m. my wife and I were driving down Falconbridge Road when all of a sudden we see a bright green fireball with a tail fall from the sky at extreme speed. It fell behind the houses and I never heard anything. Just wondering if anyone else in the area seen or found anything.

They looked way too close together to be that bright (very unusual - like two bright planets one on top of the other). I mentioned this to my friend and as we looked up to get a better look the top one disappeared (slowly-like a light bulb burning out)...about 10 seconds later the second one did the same thing. These objects were never moving but what we saw was something neither of us had ever seen in our lifetime. In the radar room, as up to 14 unknown objects seem to maneuver above Washington, D.C., all personnel are engaged in conversation among themselves and with various pilot and technician voices transmitted via radio. A considerable amount of communication within the radar room seems to have been added later, because it isn't in Tom Towers' copy of the script. I suspect it is, however, available in copies used by other actors.
Without checking line by line through the next several pages of script, but rather by making a general overview, I believe script and movie pretty much connect, perhaps with minor word changes. The only thing causing me to perk up a bit occurs the morning after the pilot of "Red Dog One" (the voice of veteran actor Harry Morgan, best know as Col. Potter on TV's "M*A*S*H"), Lt. William Patterson, visualizes and is surrounded by unknown objects over D.C. The script, unlike the movie, tells us that Chop spoke with Patterson at 6:00 a.m., thus continuing the previous night's drama at a very early hour. The script also notes that by morning, in addition to relentless phone calls, thousands of telegrams had been received at the Pentagon from an anxious and curious public.
Progressing, the script lists the names of various national newspapers whose real headlines about the second wave of Washington UFO encounters will appear to enhance the segment, and the movie includes a montage of front pages.
As Chop (Towers) narrates and informs viewers that a press conference was set up because of intense public interest in the latest UFO story, the script tells us something the movie did not -- that the conference was organized by General Nathan Twining.
The camera dissolves to the press conference, conducted by General John A. Samford, and at this point movie and script take a differing course. While the movie shows only a brief news reel snippet of Samford speaking, the script originally featured questions by reporters, presumably at the actual press conference. "It was the biggest press conference the Air Force had held since the end of World War Two," explains unused narration by Towers, "and the press hammered relentlessly for a clarification of the temperature inversion theory." Capt. Ruppelt offered this explanation personally in a morning phone call to President Truman -- shortly before Ruppelt himself was informed that Lt. William Patterson had actually achieved visual contact with the UFOs, thus throwing the temperature inversion theory seriously into question.

James started the presentation with a video that showed a compilation of all of the media reports involving the work he has done, interviews with him, interviews with others, etc.
He then talked about that he interviewed many people including Steve Hawking. He said that when he told when Steve Hawking found out that James was going to make a UFO movie that he became very disappointed. He even got their family and friends to send James letters saying to please consider not doing it that it was a waste of time.
James said he had a friend name Rene in high school that influenced him to take up an interest in UFOs. Just like what I said, James said that once he started to look into it, there is a something to it.
His first movie was called "UFOs: 50 Years of Denial?". He was then invited to Russia to film some important military figures that had info about UFOs in Russia.
He showed a video called "Russia's attitude towards UFOs". haha in this video it was so cold in Russia, near Chechnya, that there was ice on the windows INSIDE the bus they were in.
His first interview was with a decorated military officer.
The first thing the officer said was don't ask me about if UFOs exist or not. They wanted to start opening a dialogue about UFOs, etc. haha They actually believed since James's last name was Fox that he was affiliated with the TV Station.
So James goes back to USA and decides to try and interview former astronaut Gordon Cooper. He takes his skeptical Dad with him for the interview. He thought this would change his mind about UFOs while he did his work with Gordon Cooper.
Gordon Cooper told a story about when he was young, he was filming some tests of an aircraft. He and others saw a UFO land then take off and they filmed it! At this point, James's Dad was a believer because he figured Gordon Cooper had no reason to lie being such an important figure.
They then went on to President Carter to try and ask him if he would talk with him about UFOs. They had many rejections but came up with a Plan B. hahaa.. they decided to show up at a book signing and sort of ambushed him with a question. He told the funny story of how it happened. since his Dad was in a wheel chair, they decided to use that to their advantage. President Carter admitted to seeing something and it disappeared. Right after he responded, James, hid Dad, and their friend were on camera in the nearby Starbucks doing high-fives and all. It was pretty damn funny. But they did get the results.
He moved on to the next film called "Out of the Blue". He said that not once did he ever consider that if would fail until the very last moment. He first turned it into the people at Sci-Fi magazine. They ended up selling it to Sci-Fi channel/NBC Universal. They were flown out to Washington DC. He was really happy about this but because it took him five years, he knew deep down inside that he was done making films.
He went on to film other interests such as Electric/Clean vehicles and not using Petroleum-burning vehicles.
He showed us a trailer for a movie that dealt with this topic.
After this, in 2006, he got a letter from NBC Universal, the folks who bought Out of the Blue. They did not want to renew which meant he was now the owner of this film again. So he thought there were some things he could do to make the film better so he took the time to go back into it and make it better. He wanted to bring in new interviews such as Arizona Governor Fife Simington and Bill Clinton.
Slowly, but surely, he actually did get access to them and continued making the file better.
In 1997 he met with Trig Johnson who was an airplane pilot who saw a HUGE UFO that was about a mile wide. He then interviewed some people who witnessed the UFO that appeared over Phoenix, AZ in 1997 that was known as "The Phoenix Lights". He also interviewed this guy Nevils who was at the RAF Bentwaters event.
He was finally able to meet with Fife Simington. On the way to the interview, James got the idea to call one of Simington's colleagues who also witnessed the UFO. He recorded reaming out Simington about how he dealt with the event after it happened. James intended on playing it for him so he could hear it.
Simingoton's response to how he dealt with it was because he wanted to bring some levity to the moment.
He played the recording for Simington and in that moment he admitted that he saw the UFO too! James Fox was very funny in how he reacted to this moment. haha He actually pinched himself and made sure the tape was recording that moment.
So this was a big deal for an interview on this topic. Now, It turns out that Simington saved President Clinton from a drowning incident when they were young.
Simington said he would try and get him an interview with Bill Clinton.
In late 2006, James spoke with Leslie Kean and she asked him if she could write an article about the interview and admission of UFO sighting with Fife Simington. James said yes and it was published on March 18, 2006. Nothing happened. The article came and went. It was kind of a big story but it was strange that no one responded. However, the day after that, it got picked up by every single news media outlet in the country. Fife told James that he would only do interviews directly with him. So they carefully laid out a plan to figure out the people they would do the interviews with.
They did interviews with Larry King and others.
They tried to meet with Buzz Aldrin as well. Buzz ended up changing his mind about doing it because Paul Allen had recently invested in SETI and was labeled a UFO Nut. Buzz was trying to raise money for something for NASA and did not want the same thing to happen to him either. So he moved on.
After all of this, he went back to his movie Out of the Blue. He actually went into a totally different area and ended up booking the National Press Club and brought in people from all over the world, important figures who had some sort of experience. People such as military guys from RAF Bentwaters event, a former air force pilot from Iran who shot at a UFO, French Government Organization(JEPON), Chile Air Force UFO investigation organization, Fife Simington, etc. They also got Larry King to offer some coverage for it and it all worked out really great. This extra section for the movie ended up making the movie a lot better. Important to keep in mind here this is the National Press Club in DC. It's a major venue used by the big news media people and government for press events.
So instead of simply making a movie with guys talking at a podium, they went to the location, places of origin of these people who were going to appear at the press club.
So while was 330,000 + in debt, he kept going forward. He wanted to get this movie in theaters. Turns out the other investors did NOT want to put it in theaters because they had an offer on the table from the History channel. So they ended up changing the name of it to I know What I Saw.
Larry King ends up sending a copy of this to Steven Spielberg. He actually does watch it and James gets a call from an associate of Spielberg saying that he was watching his movie at that moment.
Steven sent a letter to Larry King about the movie. Larry sent it to James.
James was not given permission to use a quote from the letter but went ahead and read the letter to us for the first time to the public. The letter basically said that while he had never had an experience, which the government and the world needs to address this topic and hopefully Disclosure will happen soon.
James announced to us today what his next project was going to be. There's a movie 701 the movie (a message from Tracy Torme).
The number 701 represents the number of cases that the Air Force's Blue Book investigation was unable to solve. He's going to include interviews with people and footage never before seen and all for the theaters.
This is James's dream project.
