Hi Brian, I live in Matlock, along the shore of Lake Winnipeg. Last Saturday night, I walked to the pier to enjoy the still night with a full moon. A couple of other people were there. Suddenly we were all watching a bright orange ball moving west to east over the lake, at 2:30 from the horizon (horizon being 3 and 9).
No sound at all, although it seemed close enough to hear it if it was a plane. The glow was in the front of it, as it moved, but it wasn't on fire, it wasn't falling. It was going much too fast for a plane or satellite. As it crossed the lake it just disappeared, it didn't fade out of sight. There, not there.
Any thoughts? I have tracked down footage of very similar online, from many locations in the worlds. I think it was a UFO. That's my best guess.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: "sighting@telus.net" with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.
